The Will Academy – Frequently asked questions
The Will Academy is a resource that teaches Estate Planning and Administration. Everything from how to write a Will or make a lasting power of attorney to how to get Probate and administer an estate. It also contains specialist modules on running an Estate Planning business, dealing with the Court of Protection, Islamic Wills and Inheritance Tax planning.
Currently is only for the Agents, Staff and Franchisees of Will and Probate Services, so unless you fall into one of these categories the answer is currently no. As we develop the site public courses may well become available and the site will be updated.
No. The Will Academy is a series of practical courses designed to teach candidates about the Estate Planning world. Completion of the courses allows the candidate to work within the Will and Probate Services network. The courses are broadly based on the syllabus laid down in the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) courses and provide an excellent grounding should you decide to go on to take a formal CILEx qualification.
